GTA V Adds a PUBG-ish Mode

Parachute into GTA V's new mode.

Grand Theft Auto V released the new Smugglers Run update and it contains a mode called Motor Wars, which bears a few similarities to PLAYERUNKNOWN'S Battlegrounds.  In the new Adversary mode, players will parachute in for a battle royale fight in an increasingly shrinking Los Santos. You can check out some gameplay below.

Instead of the popular solo mode of Battlegrounds, Motor Wars has teams and a smaller lobby size of 28. As the name implies, Motor Wars also places a greater emphasis on vehicle combat. While the mode certainly is not a replacement for PUBG, Motor Wars can offer plenty of fun to GTA owners.

Motor Wars makes a lot of sense, considering driving is one of the main features in GTA V, even if the NPCs are not great at it. Although we haven't seen any major secrets from Smugglers Run yet, Rockstar usually has a few secrets up their sleeves. Remember the secret Alien Easter egg?

Vincent is a washed up former college athlete with a bad shoulder and a worse knee, but thankfully his hands are perfectly fine for gaming. He is often judged for thinking Advanced Warfare is the best Call of Duty, but your judgement won’t make him take down his AW poster that was signed by Angela Gots and Russell Richardson. Vincent is also better than Tom Henderson at everything.
