Top 10 Russian Tanks in World of Tanks

Find out the best picks in the USSR tech tree.

Another vehicle that received substantial changes in Update 9.20. I’ve always been a fan of the IS-7, and found it unique in its ability to act as a big bully as far as Assault Heavies go, as it had substantial alpha damage and armor for one. Unfortunately not all shared that view, as the mobility was lacking compared to its parent tanks in its tech tree like the IS-3 and T-10, or competitors like the 113. There was also the matter of poor gun handling that, combined with the low DPM, made the firepower particularly lack lustre.

To account for this, the power-to-weight ratio of the IS-7 was improved in order to allow it to shift around more easily. Not only this, but the IS-7’s gun handling is now one of the best in its class, leaving the IS-7 in a very good spot. It’s mobile, and has consistent and hard-hitting firepower to go with the impressive hull armor, and impenetrable turret.
