Wargaming Previews December World of Tanks Content

An advent calendar, new premium tanks, and more.

It shouldn’t come as a surprise to learn that Wargaming has a slew of special bonuses, events, and promotions in store for the month of December (it is the Christmas season after all). Recently, the company decided to offer impatient players an exclusive sneak preview of what they can expect during the holiday season.

According to a new post on the World of Tanks website, the Christmas festivities will begin December 1st (this coming Thursday) and will last all the way into the New Year.

From December 1st through the 24th, Wargaming will be hosting a World of Tanks advent calendar in which a new tank goes on sale every day. Each of these tanks will be on sale for a total of five days, and Wargaming has encouraged fans to check back frequently in order to see which new tank has been discounted.

There will be new TankRewards missions available throughout the month, and Wargaming is even planning to unveil a new series of buyable Premium tanks throughout both December and January of next year.

Four new tanks are set to be unveiled with the first unveiling happening between December 2-12, the second between December 9-19, the third happening between December 20 and January 9, and the fourth happening between December 21st and January 2nd.

During the week leading up to Christmas, Wargaming will host a special “Tanksmas” event which includes premium shop discounts and XP bonuses for daily first wins. On New Year’s Day, a similar event will be held in which all players can enjoy the benefits of a free day of Premium Account time, a X5 XP bonus, and additional discounts.

Finally, a series of double XP weekends is planned for December with X2 Crew XP scheduled for the weekends of December 2-5 and 16-19, and a X3 XP weekend planned for December 9-12.

Wargaming will reveal more info about the December festivities tomorrow, November 30th. While you wait, be sure to take advantage of November events such as the final week of Tanksgiving TankRewards missions.
