Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass DLC Release Date

A free 10-hour trial of Battlefield 1 is also available this weekend.

Earlier today, EA announced that They Shall Not Pass, the first Battlefield 1 expansion, will be available on March 14th for those who purchased the expansion pass. French Army soldiers are also making their debut in the upcoming DLC, and you can watch them in action in the new official trailer for Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass.

They Shall Not Pass is the first of four expansions arriving as a part of the Battlefield 1 Premium Pass.  Premium Pass holders will get exclusive access to They Shall Not Pass two weeks before everyone else, so if you’re anxious to get your hands on the upcoming expansion, then the Premium Pass is the way to go.

They Shall Not Pass features four new multiplayer maps, with new vehicles and weapons for players to enjoy. Among the new vehicles are two French tanks, the Char 2c super-heavy tank and the St. Chamond assault tank.

The three remaining Battlefield 1 expansions were also revealed recently on the Battlefield website. Each new expansion highlights its own unique theme and will include new maps, weapons, and environments.

If you don’t own Battlefield 1, you will have a chance to try out the game in a 10-hour free trial this weekend on PC and Xbox One. This trial version of Battlefield 1 will feature the first two War Stories in the single-player campaign, as well as four multiplayer game modes on five different maps.

For PC players on Origin, the Battlefield 1 free trial will start on Friday, March 3rd at 5am PT and will end on Monday morning at 10am PST. On Xbox One, the Battlefield 1 free trial begins on March 3rd at 9am PT, and runs until March 5th at 11:59pm PT.  Your game save data will carry over from the trial period if you decide to purchase Battlefield 1 afterward.
