Project V.A.L.O.R. Begins!
It’s time to support those who serve.
The month of May sees the start of the Military Appreciation Month, and Wargaming America is teaming up with the National Military Family Association to bring gamers an opportunity to support and recognize the servicemen and women, and their families and loved ones.
May is the beginning of Wargaming’s Project V.A.L.O.R. (Veterans’ and Loved One’s Responsibility), a yearlong event that will go to supporting and assisting those servicemen and women that the National Military Family Association help through their programs. Players of World of Tanks PC, World of Tanks console, and World of Warships will be able to purchase a “VALOR Family” emblem or flag (emblem for World of Tanks, flag for World of Warships) with 100% of the proceeds going to the National Military Family Association.
This particular emblem or flag is only available during May, with more flags and emblems becoming available as the year progresses. In the following months, Wargaming will be supporting various charities through the sale of these emblems and flags.
Players that support the cause of Project V.A.L.O.R. through all its iterations will gain access to a fifth and final emblem or flag, so if you want the exclusive emblem for your tank or flag for your warship, be sure to chip in and purchase one of each! Not only will you be able to flaunt your support, you'll be actively helping military families.
The National Military Family Association is a non-profit charity, meaning all proceeds go directly toward helping military families. Among their services, the National Military Family Association has several different programs for different purposes including Scholarships, Mental Health services, and camps for kids!
Players will be able to purchase the Project V.A.L.O.R. emblem in the Premium shop for the duration of May. At the end of May, the first emblem (or flag for our World of Warship players) will no longer be available, and the next item will be revealed.
This is an awesome initiative that World of Tanks and World of Warships players can get behind. Something as small as purchasing an in-game cosmetic item can greatly help those in need. When will you be picking up your Project V.A.L.O.R. emblem?
