Fire Emblem Echoes - How to Get a Ship

How to get your own ship in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.

This guide will show you how to get a ship in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. After you finish Act 1 and start playing as the other main character, Celica, you will need to head to the Temple of Mila – but this is only accessible via a ship! Thankfully, getting a ship in Fire Emblem Echoes is easy!

How to Get a Ship

To get a ship in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia, the first step is to recruit Saber to your party. Saber is one of the many NPCS you can recruit in Fire Emblem Echoes, and one of the quickest and easiest to recruit.

To recruit Saber, head to Novis Greatport and into the Tavern where you’ll need to speak to the swordsman Saber. He will brush you off, don’t worry, this is all part of the process. Leave the Tavern and go to the Wharf and speak with the Old Timer. This fella will tell you he can’t set sail due to some pirates.

After speaking with him, go back into the Tavern and speak with the Saber a second time. A cutscene will play and Saber will agree to join your party!

Now that your party is stronger thanks to Saber, go back to the Old Timer near the Wharf and speak with him. Celica will inform the Old Timer that Saber, the swordsman, has entered your services and so your party is now stronger. The Old Timer will accept, allowing you to set sail.

Congratulations, you now have a ship in Fire Emblem Echoes and are ready to set sail to Temple of Mila. You can do this via the world map – you will need to select the closest group of enemies. Now that you have a ship, you can visit more places in the continent of Valentia.

If you read this guide, you should now know how to get a ship in Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia.
